Bio

Ron Taylor is a proud Idahoan, dedicated public servant, and candidate for Idaho State Senate in District 26, serving Blaine, Jerome, and Lincoln Counties.

Born in Salt Lake City, Ron moved to Idaho 41 years ago and has called the Wood River Valley home ever since. After nearly two decades as a chef, he answered a higher calling, serving his community as a firefighter and paramedic for 27 years. He and his wife, Alex, share two daughters and three grandchildren.

The events of January 6th moved Ron to run for office, driven by a deep commitment to protecting democracy. Today, he champions strong public schools, protected public lands, affordable healthcare, good local jobs, and the freedoms every Idahoan holds dear.

Ron is ready to keep working for the families of Blaine, Jerome, and Lincoln Counties.
